Book Mandy ~ Public Speaking

Book Mandy Magill
Co-Steward, ERA

  • Mandy was born and raised in Colorado and is a Regenerative Educator and Consultant. With a degree in Sociology and Environmental Affairs from Colorado State University, Mandy focuses on raising public awareness regarding the importance of relocalizing food, product and service systems while also ensuring those systems are regenerative, holistic, and based in relationships with one another and with Nature. She has done numerous educational presentations and has also worked with regenerative farmers and ranchers to get their stories out to the public. She connects the dots for people as to how regenerative, local, Nature-inspired systems can reverse climate change, heal the oceans, and positively impact biodiversity and human health through regenerating soil and food.

Mandy’s heart, soul and extreme passion for regeneration are embodied in the Earth Regeneration Alliance. Focused on educating and galvanizing the public, introducing and guiding regenerative legislation, and creating commUNITY and relationships around the many ways to regenerate Planet Earth, she has absolutely no doubt that humanity can come together, partner with Nature, and heal the Earth.

Mandy is also cofounding Rooted in REAL (Regenerative, Ethical, Authentic, Local), a startup that will educate and guide people in sourcing REAL food, products and services, along with creating community and philanthropy around living regeneratively.

  • Other Highlights/Projects:

    • Savory Institute Holistic Management Accredited Professional (in process; to be completed in 2024)

    • Good Business Colorado Legislative Rock Star Award 2024 (for her work on the local/regenerative food sourcing tax credit bill – to be run again in 2025)

    • Creation of regenerative agriculture education panels (initial installation at the James Ranch in Durango, CO) – available for purchase in 2025

  • Mandy's favorite book is Ishmael by Daniel Quinn. Although she only recently discovered it, she knows it is the book she's been looking for her entire life to describe her lifelong something-is-not-quite-right feeling. Ishmael is her go-to recommendation for absolutely anyone and everyone. Whether you've been in "the work" for some time or you are entirely new to all of this, Ishmael is an approachable (and usually extremely cathartic) and visionary work by the very talented Daniel Quinn. Thank you, Daniel; your brilliant insight is foundational for the regeneration of the entire planet.
